The shopping app specializes as a social networking platform to resell all those old clothes you no longer wear. Poshmark succeeds in ways other resell sites don’t, they’re very good at getting people to come back to the app and open it again and again. They’ve tapped into persuasive design and behavioral patterns in better ways then their competitors have.
I've been working primarily as a front-end developer for 3 years now and while I'm currently job hunting, I'm using this time for self-improvement.
I'll admit I've never felt like a true developer.
I majored in design in college, learned coding during my interactive media minor. Most days, I do more design then code at my jobs.
Since I've been taking Environment Science this semester, I've been thinking of ways that college students can try to be more environmentally friendly. So here's a list that I'm sure you could add to if you really wanted too!
To answer the question once and for all, "Not yet!"
Whenever I see my extended family or people who know I'm traveling abroad this summer, I get asked that question almost every time. And the answer is always the same. I don't think I'll be properly "ready yet" until the day of. Once I'm on the airplane to Tokyo (where I'm flying into Japan), then I can finally say, "yes".
